Category: Run Time Library >Group: fixed >Status: Closed >Resolution: Fixed Priority: 5 Submitted By: Philipp Krause (spth) >Assigned to: Maarten Brock (maartenbrock) Summary: wrong declaration of gets() Initial Comment: While the declaration of gets() in stdio.h is correct, the one in gets.c is not. The parameter should be of type char *, not const char *. The current implementation exploits bug #1302048 to get rid of the const inside the function and then use the pointer to modify data. The attached patch fixes this (I've rebuilt the library, but not yet run regression tests). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Maarten Brock (maartenbrock) Date: 2006-10-01 23:19 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=888171 Thanks, implemented in SDCC 2.6.1 #4398. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=100599&aid=1568829&group_id=599 |
