Category: None Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Steven Borley (sjborley) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: problem with -o passing to gplink Initial Comment: SDCC is stripping the suffix from the name it passes to gplink using -o and this causes problems when names have more than one dot. Thus sdcc -V -mpic16 -p18f8620 -o bob-v1.2.hex test.c evokes gpasm ... -o "bob-v1.2.o" but gplink ... -o bob-v1.2 With names with one dot or more gplink strips everything after the last dot and then adds .hex so I get the output file bob-v1.hex (rather than bob- v1.2.hex) The full list of output files from the above example is... bob-v1.2.asm bob-v1.2.lst bob-v1.2.o bob-v1.cod bob-v1.hex bob-v1.lst Please can SDCC be modified to pass the full name to gplink (ie. let it do the stripping, rather than sdcc). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=100599&aid=1505372&group_id=599 |
