[Sdcc-user] Newb to GNU tools, HC908 user

Hi all,

 

I have been using Introl for several years, and P&E assembly tools which is
rather limiting. What I am hoping for is if anyone has released or has some
files they are willing to share to support the AP family of On-Semi
processors, in particular the AP64 (I can modify a different AP
accordingly). I have a P&E assembly definition file for this, but not
something that will work well in sdcc.

 

Is there anything I should know when using this toolset with the P&E Cyclone
Pro? Any additional tools I would require to bridge between sdcc output and
the P&E Cyclone?

 

I have to get up to speed on this quite fast, which is a bit daunting, but
it is about time I started using some open-source tools.

 

I'm sure I will have a few more questions, like how to call the built-in ROM
functions for burning to the flash, but I will let that slide for now.
