Hello, I uploaded a new version of SDCC Win32 installation setup: http://sdcc.sourceforge.net/snapshots/i586-mingw32msvc-setup/sdcc_20031005_s etup.exe This time I created it with Nullsoft NSIS, which I think is a better choice then InnoSetup, which I used for previous version: - it produces much smaller package - it is more flexible, it supports scripting I would like to include the script sdcc.nsi into CVS. I propose to introduce a directory named "install", which will contain subdirectories for different packagers. Currently there is only one candidate: "nsis", containing sdcc.nsi file. In the future we can add new subdirectories for other packagers. The first candidate is rpm. Now I have a problem to decide, where to create the install directory: - under sdcc project - under sdcc project in support directory - under sdcc-build project I think that the first option is the best one: to create it under sdcc project: sdcc install nsis rpm ... What do you guys think about my proposal? If you have any ideas, comments or questions, please let me know. Borut |
