[Sdcc-user] As a newbie to SDCC and the 87C420 ...

any suggestions would be appreciated. Like what
libraries to include, especially to use the second serial
port and the "internal external" RAM. I've quickly looked
at the '390 stuff but wonder if that is too much/not the
right stuff for the 420.

25 years as a developer [COBOL, IBM 370 assembler,
Pascal, currently everything I write is in Java] but very little C
and zero microprocessor experience. Have been reading
about it for quite some time [SDCC, 8051's, etc.] and
decided to try to develop something for my personal needs.

Development environment:

Windows, SDCC 2.4.0.
