I'm releasing the μDAP (udap), a complete cross-debugging toolchain for Z80 programs
that brings modern source-level debugging to retro 8-bit development.
This is, to my knowledge, the first DAP implementation for include C source level
debugging on Z80, allowing full integration with Visual Studio Code on Linux.
It supports both a lightweight built-in Z80 emulator and can be used as a library
in any other emulator.
Key Features:
True source-level C debugging using SDCC CDB files
Mixed C / Assembly debugging
Live local and global variables
Rich disassembly view with MAP symbol names
Memory inspection, expression evaluation, and Step Back
