Start the game. Walk left, pull the mat, get the key,
unlock the door with the key, go through the door on
the far right, and go through that room to the next
room. Use what-is to find the lamp and turn it on. Go
all the way to the far right and use what-is to find
the loose panel on the back wall. (Far right.) Open
the panel, take the cassette tape. Go back to the main
foyer and go upstairs. Then open and go through the
door on the far right. Get the old record and use it
on the Victrola. Use the cassette tape in the
recorder. Turn on the recorder then turn on the
victrola. Then turn off the recorder and get the tape.
Go left and back down stairs and through the door on
the right. Open the cabinet door beneath the radio.
Use the cassette tape in the player and turn on the
player. Now exit the room and enter the room. The
tape will play again. Now switch kids and switch back.
The tape will play again.
Alternately, use the attached saved game: enter the
room on the right and hear the tape. Switch kids and
switch back to hear it again.
This bug didn't exist in the original version (I just
tried it myself).

If it still exists: maybe this is a bug in Player_v2, or the way we
use it?

What's the status of that question? ;) Do you want me to
regress over it to see if it's still there?

Behavior now matches original. It turns out that I didn't
test the original quite as carefully as I thought; even the
original repeats the sound when switching kids back and
forth, and so does ScummVM. Mark this closed.
