There's no points awarded for playing the first poker game in the ScummVM 1.70 or the latest development build. The second one you receive the points. I've attached a savegame right before playing.
Is it possible for you to verify, if this happens in the original interpreter?
Oh and I can't load your saved game. What's written inside the file "VERSION" inside your game directory? And please also list all script patches (*.scr), that are inside your game directory.

After reading your post I decided to try another copy of the game, I received the points. So it was the copy I had. Sorry to bother you. But keep up the great work on ScummVM. :-)

When I remove all the script patches, your saved game loads.
I just debugged it and when I tricked the scripts into thinking that I actually played poker instead of skipping it, points were awarded.
Can you please play through the first poker game and then save right afterwards when it changed rooms again? You should be able to save then. I'm not good at poker, so I keep losing :p
Sierra definitely patched that room in my version, so maybe those changes are related to the problems you are having.
