COMI music on Symbian sounds like static noise. Movie audio, speech sounds good, but the background music is heavly distorted since the rewrite of the audio mixing code. Is this related to the ARM optimization?
Lars, you ask "Is this related to the ARM optimization? " -- well, *you* should be the one to tell us :). Just try it with the ARM optimizations turned off and see how that affects it :)
Also, how do other games sound which use sampled audio data? E.g. FT, Dig, BS2, Sky, etc.

Of course I should test without ASM opts. :-) All other games work fine, perhaps its the imuse digi mixing code which acting up on the Symbian platform, but strange if its only the background music which sounds wrong then.

When you are saying "Version is 1.0.0->later (and TRUNK)" do you mean it happens from 1.0.0 on? If so I doubt it is related to our latest audio code refactoring (no idea whether you would call that a rewrite), since that happened after 1.0.0.

So it seems like 1.1.0 works fine, but the version on the trunk sounds strange. So I must make a diff too see what can be the changes and or problems. Have I changed something in my toolchain? or something else.

This is only a problem for Scumm games using streaming music, older games is not an issue (as far as I know).
