At the Schnibble Sect, you can pick up the Hypnotic Ceedeerom from the skull-alike-machine's nostril.
I'm pretty sure that the high priest is supposed to prevent your access to there as long as he's awake (and not falls asleep to the gongs sequence).
Not only that I can take the CD with no resistance, I can take it over and over (although it's not accumulated in the inventory).

It reminds me another bug, but it happened only once, so I didn't report: In the High Morals Club the old lady prevents your access to the president's quarters, until you blind her by throwing the garbage beg to the brazier. Once I exited the door to the administration center and came back (without blinding her), I could get the quarters door and she didn't prevent me.
However, I didn't manage to repeat that when I reloaded the game.
Save Game - Woodruff next to the machine's nostril while they are awake. Take the ceedeerom more than once.

Hmm, can't reproduce it here. The high priest does hold me back saying he told me to go to the initiation chamber.
Must be something specific to your game version. Yours and mine are also apparently incompatible, since I can't load your saves. :/
What do the "version" menu item and the file version.ver on the CD say?

The version from the menu item is WOODRUFF V 1.00 (c)SIERRA 1995.
The version.ver content is 1.00.
What about after you put to sleep the high priest? Can you take the CD after you already took it?

Well, though it is a script bug, it /is/ a bug...
Not one that really matters, but I'd still like a workaround for that some day...
