Loading the attached savegame makes you stuck at the
current scene/position/state. My guess would be that
the script is in some let's-playback-a-scripted-action
loop and doesn't therefore doesn't accept any input.

OK, some more info, since it is now reproducible.
The lockup occurs when you rotate the lens in room 56 after
looking at the "strange device" and finding out that the
lens is in the wrong position.
