It should be possible to define implicit time intervals in the Visio interface. Minimal requirement is that the time between a send event and the corresponding recieve event is configurable. Then, when an interval is absent in the drawing, the configured value is used by checking algorithms.

Lubos, could you add some comments on this?

Eg. add an interval with a default value when creating a new message...
or an automatic transformer adding default time intervals...

I think the most reasonable wolud be to implement transformer for adding implicit time intervals to MSC drawing. I will send an email to other SCStudio developers, to find out wheteher they have better idea. If no I will start implementing this functionality.
