Thanks for sending them. As for your plan to send the additional SCST patches together with the qla2xxx changes: just as information, kernel maintainers usually do not consider out-of-tree drivers as a strong reason to accept changes in in-tree code. So the SCST dependency may not carry much weight upstream. That said, it certainly does no harm, and please feel free to CC scst devel when posting those patches — it will help us keep track of the context. I will apply the corresponding SCST patches once the related qla2xxx changes are backported here. Thanks again for your contribution. Gleb |
