diskio/raidio are pass-through drivers.  fileio goes though the block layer, 
this has the benefit of caching I/Os.

The benifit of the pass-through is that all SCSI commands are passed directly 
(including things like inquiry, which are totally unrelated to the disk's 
inquiry data for fileio).
