Hi All,
SCST Version: 3.1.0-pre1 | Release: 5854
We're working on some "Vmware ready" iSCSI certification using the forth
coming major ESXi release (Currently in RC).
Hardware setup is quite simple:
2 x Hypervisors | 2 x 1Gbit each (round robin policy)
1 x SCST Target | 2 x 1Gbit portals.
Everything seems to be working as expected from the SCST side of things
(as it always does!) however we've noticed the following messages being
logged by the target every minute or so:
Nov 12 09:58:30 brick4 kernel: scst: ***ERROR***: Unsupported SELECT
REPORT value 11 in REPORT LUNS command
Nov 12 09:58:30 brick4 kernel: scst: ***ERROR***: Unsupported SELECT
REPORT value 11 in REPORT LUNS command
Nov 12 09:59:55 brick4 kernel: scst: ***ERROR***: Unsupported SELECT

Do you think this is another dodgy iscsi_vmk initiator issue??
I'm not sure if this is related but were using
"HardwareAcceleratedLocking" with some of the volumes.
Were also going to see how the certification likes:
HardwareAcceleratedInit
EnableBlockDelete
I've tried to put as much (useful?) information regarding the Initiator
below. There was nothing in the vmkernel.log that seemed relevant to the
issue.
