Is there a scrollkeeper that works with docbook 4.2.0 instead of 4.1.2?

Can you explain what you mean and what problems you see. Apart from
requiring the OMF files, why does scrollkeeper care what format you
document is in?

Because I have docbook-dtd v4.2.0 installed and when I try to compile 
scrollkeeper I get the following error.

Couldn't find the DocBook XML V4.1.2 DTD.  Please make sure that you 
have the docbook-dtd412-xml package installed. If it is installed, the 
package probably did not register the DTD in the catalog properly. 
Consult http://scrollkeeper.sourceforge.net/docbook.shtml for more 
information.

configure: error: DocBook XML V4.1.2 DTD not present in 
/etc/xml/catalog. Make sure docbook-dtd412-xml is installed and 
registers DTD in catalog.

Make sure ./configure (xmlcatalog) will reach it via /etc/xml/catalog --
either install in addition to 4.2 or try to work around it as follows
(a little bit dangerous); add to /etc/xml/catalog :

<public publicId="-//OASIS//DTD DocBook XML V4.1.2//EN" uri="file:///path/to your/docbook_4.2.dtd"/>

You can also try some delegate statements.

Only tested on SuSE Linux.

Although this is really a hack. The solution is that I need to fix it
properly in scrollkeeper. I just need to work out all the dependencies
on it (which seem to be few) and make sure everything works with both
versions.

Look for something in CVS in about a week.

BTW, I filed an enhancement request asking for a --nonet option; do you
have any plan to implement this feature?

Yes. When last I looked in the bug tracker at sourceforge (which I hate
soooo much), all of the feature requests looked reasonable. The only
problem is finding time and motivation to implement things and fix the
bugs. :(

in C.  But don't worry, my requests aren't that urgent.
