Sorry, I'm not a hacker.  If I remember correctly, one of my collegues
applied a patch or two.  Similar patches should come with every Linux
distro.  Feel free to try one of source RPMs; on SuSE Linux it has
astrange name:

    jade_dsl.spm (or jade_dsl-VERSION.src.rpm)
