I've just comitted the code, which makes KHelpcenter support ScrollKeeper (http://scrollkeeper.sourceforge.net/). If you don't have ScrollKeeper installed nothing changes. If you install packages which use ScrollKeeper for providing metadata about their documentation, this documentation now automatically gets visible in the tree view of KHelpcenter. You can get the same effect by installing metadata files manually and calling scrollkeeper-update. The next step would be to (automatically) generate metadata files for the KDE documentation and install them with ScrollKeeper. Then the KDE docs would also be accessible by non-KDE documentation browsers supporting ScrollKeeper. This would be a nice step forward regarding desktop interoperability -- Cornelius Schumacher <sch...@kd...> |
