Speaking only for myself, how about a combination? That is, I'd like to see Dublin Core in DocBook and a way to put OMF's tweaks and additions to DC into DocBook via namespaces. In other words, OMF is *largely* based on Dublin Core. It seems to me to make more sense to integrate DC into DocBook first. Failing that, I'd like to see the task force approach, since that would mean *most* of Dublin Core had been integrated into DocBook, even if only by way of OMF.
