Puddleby court cases have three possible outcomes:
Guilty, Innocent, & Frivolous.
I am attaching text log transcripts of an example of all
three kinds.
In all three cases, Haengemie is the character who
hands out the sentences.

Guilty:
Bellafae hands Haengemie the jury's verdict.
Haengemie says, "Lummox this court finds you guilty,

at this point, the jury adjourns to recommend a
sentence. When they return:
Bellafae hands Haengemie the jury's sentencing
recommendation.
Haengemie says, "Lummox, you are hereby sentenced
to spend 37 minutes in the Puddleby jail,"
Haengemie says, "and fined 571 coins."
Haengemie says, "As you cannot afford to pay your
fine, the clerk calculates the balance (571c)..."
Haengemie says, "...as additional jail-time of 73
minutes."
Haengemie says, "Also, Clera will help you arrange a
payment plan."
Haengemie says, "In addition, Lummox, I'm going to
banish you from the city limits for 7 days."
There are 4 elements here, none of which are always
present in all cases.
Penalties may be jail time, additional jail time, fines,
and banishment.
The case above happens to have all of them.
The jail time above is a total of 110 minutes, which
Scribia will have to add up from the two statements.

Frivolous cases are different, because in a friv case, it's
not the defendant who is punished, but the plaintiff.
Bellafae hands Haengemie the jury's verdict.
Haengemie says, "Deornoth this court has found your
case frivolous."
Haengemie says, "Trespasser, you are free to go."
Haengemie says, "Jury, you have found Deornoth
guilty."
Haengemie says, "You will now adjourn to
recommend a sentence."
at this point, the jury adjourns to recommend a
sentence. When they return:
Bellafae hands Haengemie the jury's sentencing
recommendation.
Haengemie says, "Deornoth, you are hereby
sentenced to spend 166 minutes in the Puddleby jail,"
Haengemie says, "and fined 6 coins."
Haengemie says, "In addition, Deornoth, I'm going to
banish you from the city limits for 13 days."
This example doesn't have it, but in a friv case, the
additional jail-time because of lack of money can also
apply.

Also, a note on Jury Duty: It would be nice if Scribia kept
track of Experience from jury duty in both the Jury
Events and Experience sections. Every time a juror
serves, they are automatically given experience:

Puddleby court cases have three possible outcomes:
Guilty, Innocent, & Frivolous.
I am attaching text log transcripts of an example of all
three kinds.
In all three cases, Haengemie is the character who
hands out the sentences.
