Wow, thank you for offering a working solution since Asus is apparently not seeing the problem even though all reviews say that asuscloselid.exe is a huge cpu hog.
I used to have a small batch file which started asuscloselid.exe for about 10 seconds and then killed it again so the cpu is not beeing hijacked. Now I can use my Taichi the way it is supposed to work.
Maybe you can add or support the autorotate option for the outer screen and disable it for the inner screen. Right now when autorotation is enabled the inner screen goes upside down.
But I still have to get to know my new "life saver".
Thanks again,
Boris

I'm very disappointed with ASUS too... they released some recent Updates for the closelid-Tool, but they didn't fix the CPU issue yet (and probably never will?).
I am very happy with your solution and I can't wait to see the next version :-)
As Boris already wrote, it would be great, if autorotation would work. Also I am having trouble with the Display-Lock-Slider (on the left side of the Taichi): Once locked, then unlocked, both screens are active. And the last thing I discovered: The tool isn't active after boot (in the Logon-Screen).
Thanks a lot and keep up the good work!

I tried to activate my tool before the desktop, but i didn't know how to register to a window event without a windows desktop (to register close/open lid event). tried some things, but no real success, as i'm really not a windows-ui dev.
For the autorotate, i didn't known how to activate/desactivate this. Need to make more research.

Hey Remi, what's about a version of your precious app, but working fine and entirely (auto-rotate included) for Win 10?
I'd be happy to contribute to developement costs. Let me know, please
