Q: What does the version number mean?
A: ##.##.##.## or PP.SS.TT.QQ
|Primary Number (PP)||Major Release.|
|Secondary Number (SS)||Normal Release.|
|Tertiary Number (TT)||Design Release.|
|Quaternary Number (QQ)||Other Release.|
Real meaning, TT and QQ are used either for simple text or formula errors that are found just after a SS release. But normally I uses them when Excel crashes, and I have to restore from a recovered version. I also uses them when I have to do a rebuild because of the "Too Many Styles" error.
