FAQ

Q: What does the version number mean?

A: ##.##.##.## or PP.SS.TT.QQ

Number Meaning
Primary Number (PP) Major Release.
Secondary Number (SS) Normal Release.
Tertiary Number (TT) Design Release.
Quaternary Number (QQ) Other Release.

Real meaning, TT and QQ are used either for simple text or formula errors that are found just after a SS release. But normally I uses them when Excel crashes, and I have to restore from a recovered version. I also uses them when I have to do a rebuild because of the "Too Many Styles" error.

Q: Why do I get asked about Macros when I load?

A: This is a Microsoft security thing. If you want to remove this warning, check out this article it can be very helpful.

Q: How do I load a character from one version to another?

A: Uses the "Load Character" and "Save Character" buttons located on the Options tab.
