Running SciTE 3.7.4 on Windows 7:

I have defined the status line as

$(CurrentTime) $(CurrentDate)    | li=$(LineNumber) co=$(ColumnNumber)

but the time is not updated continuously. It gets only updated when I click on the status bar.

There was no intention of maintaining a clock in the status bar as that would be bad for power consumption and operating systems have their own clocks.

I am not in favour of this feature. Any implementation should require turning on an explicit option.
