That file is too large to open in the 32-bit version of SciTE although it can be opened in a 64-bit build. For me, SciTE does not crash but instead displays a "Memory exhausted" error message then closes. SciTE is designed around keeping the file in memory and is not suitable for huge files. You can prevent SciTE trying to open large files with the max.file.size setting.
