[Scim-user] SCIM failed to lauch when I set the LC_CTYP as "zh_CN.GB18030".

Hi,

SCIM IM is failed to lauch when I set the LC_CTYP as "zh_CN.GB18030" from
Java application. But same works fine when I set the LOC_CTYPE as either
zh_CN.GBK or zh_CN.utf8.

Below is the set up I am having. Kindly provide your valuable inputs or
suggestions will help me go further in my Chinese input support feature
development.

Let me know if you guys need further information.

OS Info:
-----------
Fedora Core-4 with 2.6.15.7 kernel
IA32 distribution

List of scim related rpms installed:
-------------------------------------------------
   1. scim-libs-1.4.4-1.fc4.i386.rpm
   2. scim-1.4.4-1.fc4.i386.rpm
   3. scim-pinyin-0.5.0-5.fc4.i386.rpm 

Env variables:
------------------
   1. export XMODIFIERS="@im=SCIM"
   2. export LC_CTYPE="zh_CN.GB18030"
   3. export GTK_IM_MODULE="scim" 

How to start scam:
--------------------------
scim -d

Defaults:
-----------
mkdir -p ~/.xinput.d
ln -s /etc/X11/xinit/xinput.d/scim ~/.xinput.d/default 

How to launch Java Application?
----------------------------------------------
I launched my Java application from the same terminal.
