Category: IMEngine: Core Group: None Status: Closed >Resolution: Fixed Priority: 5 Submitted By: Greenfish (greenfish) >Assigned to: James Su (suzhe) Summary: Hangul and Dvorak conflict Initial Comment: Hi. First of all, I'm using ubuntu-breezy with dvorak layout on a standard US keyboard. My scim version is 1.0.2. I have installed scim-hangul and is able to type Korean using "2bul" input mode. I have set the "Use Dvorak Keyboard" option, as otherwise I get jibberish. Still, in "2bul" mode, when I press [.], the period key, I get the lettel 'v', which is the correct letter for the Dvorak layout, but incorrect for '2bul'. All of the other symbol keys [-][=][[][]]['][;][,][.] remain mapped as Dvorak. This makes it impossible for me to type punctuations in 2bul mode, and I must revert back to Dvorak to produce a punctuation. This is very cumbersome, as I must revert back to Dvorak layout at the end of every sentence! I've noticed that this also happens with Nabi (the other hangul IME). Could you help please? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: LiuCougar (liuspider) Date: 2006-03-12 22:29 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=600121 closed ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Choe Hwanjin (hwanjin) Date: 2006-03-12 10:30 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=809190 This problem was solved in new release scim-hangul 0.2.2. James, please assign this bug to me and close this bug. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Greenfish (greenfish) Date: 2006-02-08 03:17 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1445925 hwanjin, Yes, you are correct. When 2bul is selected, punctuation marks key should type out punctuation, but currently it does not. The punctuation keys type out Dvorak in even in 2bul mode. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Choe Hwanjin (hwanjin) Date: 2006-02-07 19:06 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=809190 I don't know which one is right. In 2bul mode with dvorak keyboard, punctuation marks keys should work as qwerty layout. I need more time to think. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: LiuCougar (liuspider) Date: 2006-02-07 17:37 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=600121 scim 1.0.x series are not supported anymore, please consider upgrading to at least 1.2.x, or better to 1.4.4 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=650539&aid=1425895&group_id=108454 |
