Hi, I'm new to this mailing list, so, please excuse if I have questions you don't find appropriate for this list. Now to the questions: 1. Is there no (mailing list) forum like there is for gtk+ (development)? 2. Is there a release date for gtkextra v1.0? 3. Is there a release date for a documentation (and/or tutorials)? 4. Some of the provided gtkextra examples have a boxed number at the very top left of the canvas. What does it mean/do??? 5. I have successfully installed gtkextra and also were able to run the automatically make'd testfiles (examples). When I tried to put one of those testfiles - let's say testrealtime.c - into another directory I received errors, that various .h of the gtkextra package couldn't be found, ie: testrealtime.c:6: gtkplot.h: No such file or directory ... Somehow, for the "basic" GTK+ package it was possible to create a .c file in any directory I like and simply link/include <gtk/gtk.h>. So, it's like as if a path-variable didn't get set at installation. Can anyone help me out of this trouble??? I'd really appreciate this and be thankful for it!!! Thanks in advance (also for the other questions)! Cheers, Michael Haberl. -- GMX - Die Kommunikationsplattform im Internet. http://www.gmx.net |
