Hi I'm trying to work out how to tie python to the spreadsheet in sg. It seems like it would be useful to have things organized in such a way that a cell in the spreadsheet could contain a formula, as well as the result of evaluating that formula. (And maybe a display format for that result too). The GtkSheetCell struct is defined as follows: struct _GtkSheetCell { GdkRectangle area; gint row; gint col; GtkSheetCellAttr *attributes; gchar *text; gpointer link; }; With '*text' being the displayed text in the cell. My question is this: Can I use the pointer 'link' to point to some data I wish to be associated with the cell? Or is it used in some other standard way like pointing to a widget to be displayed in the cell? Sorry if this is in the docs, but I'm new here ;-) Regards Conrad *-----------------------------------------* | Conrad Steenberg | | Caltech, Mail Code 220-47 | | Pasadena, CA, 91125 | | e-mail: co...@sr... | | Tel: (626) 395-2964 Fax: (626) 449-8676 | *-----------------------------------------* "Source code is the blueprint for software, like a set of spells that humans can read and use to control machines.
