It works fine with ICCF but when you fetch games from mychess.de you don't get anything. I've confirmed with XECTool on windows that xfcc is working on their end. I get an error from schemingmind.

Fair enough. I'll just ask that you don't remove it like scid has. I'm a coder too, I just have literally zero experience with tcl. I'm more of a dash app running on nginx kinda guy, but I'll start familiarizing myself with the code and learning the xfcc protocol and I'll see what I can do.
