SciDAVis 2.x has not yet been released for MacOSX. 1.26 is the latest
version for which a MacOSX build is available. I don't know why MacOSX
thinks that a newer version might be available. I couldn't find any
description of how MacOSX works that out on Apple's website.

You only chance right now is to compile it from source code. There are
bound to be issues, though, as I haven't got all the prerequisites to
build on Mac yet.

I will announce on the usual channel when it is ready.
