The problem is that PGN format is not enough for some reasons. For example,=
 as=20
a coach, I need certain sets of positions for various themes. ChessBase=20
offers you an option to classify those positions by various criteria. PGN=20
doesn't allow you to handle that easily - and so doesn't Scid.

The best way I found in Scid to do that is to use ECO codes for classifying=
=20
themes - but that is a bit awkward.

Well, they did ;-) You can export PGN from ChessBase...
