Never mind. I found it under Windows --> Show game info. ----- Original Message ----- From: "James K. Williams" <jam...@co...> To: "Scid List" <sci...@li...> Sent: Saturday, January 30, 2016 10:17:48 AM Subject: [Scid-users] Identify Opening Scid used to display the actual name (e.g., "Sicilian Najdorf") of the opening when I selected Game --> Identify Opening. Now it moves to a position early in the game, presumably the position that uniquely determines the ECO code, but no name is listed anywhere on the screen. I can see the ECO code when I select Classify Game from the Save Game menu, but still there is no name. Fulvio's answer when I asked this same question a year ago about version 4.4 was You have to make visible the "game information area" (right-click on the "board" label and check "Show game info"). But with version 4.6.2, that no longer works. Nothing happens when I right-click on the board, and I'm back to the original problem. How can I display the opening name? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Site24x7 APM Insight: Get Deep Visibility into Application Performance APM + Mobile APM + RUM: Monitor 3 App instances at just $35/Month Monitor end-to-end web transactions and take corrective actions now Troubleshoot faster and improve end-user experience.
