My laptop ran out of battery which shut down scid. When this happened there was an opened database I was adding games to. There was a game which I didn’t manage to save before the program shut. Now when I open that database, scid crashes. I think the database is now corrupted. I wasn’t sure what caused it or how to fix it and recover those games, so I replicated what happened by shutting down the computer with an unsaved game in a new database. Once again, this new database crashes scid when I try to open it.
I’ve attached both databases. The new one is named random and the original is named french. Sadly, I’ve tried fervently to recover the games from the french database and was unsuccessful.

I have the same problem. In my case SCID crashed for some unknown reason while I had unsaved games in the attached database, and now I can't open the database.
The crash was already fixed with:
