#125 Board gone

Hello,

I was working normally with Scid (searching games, going through variations with stockfish 10) and suddenly the board went missing, every time I re-start Scid I get this message:

bad window path name ".nb"
bad window path name ".nb"
while executing
"winfo rootx $c_path"
(procedure "::docking::end_motion" line 19)
invoked from within
"::docking::end_motion .nb 16 87"
(command bound to event)

I tried uninstalling+installing and that did not help.

Any idea?

It seems that you closed the "board window", which shouldn't be possible.

To fix the issue, delete the config/options.dat file.
If you are using Linux the file is in your home directory: ~/.scid4.7/config/options.dat

I installed 4.7 and it hasn't happened there but will keep this in my bag of tricks
