No

Hi SCID-team,

I analyse a game with SCID and export the game to a pgn-file.

The pgn-file contains the symbol D, see exemple file, and when I load the game on my phone in the program chess4mobile (https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/store/p/chess4mobile/9nblggh5lp03) I can't read the comments and analyses.

I have had contact with the maker of the app chess4mobile and he will fix it, but is a D as sysmbole conform the standard? I can't find it in the pgn-standard or in Wikipedia

    Hi,
there are always discussions about replacing the pgn-standard:
    https://www.reddit.com/r/chess/comments/47fexz/towards_a_replacement_for_the_pgn_format/

The problem is that some informations cannot be encoded in a pgn file, in this case the "Diagram" one; that's why SCID (and almost all the other chess softwares) use some non-portable extensions.
However, when you export to pgn (Database -> Export All Filter Games -> Export filter to PGN File), you can choose to create a fully standard pgn (image attached).

    Hope it helps.
