SCI-MPICH2 / News: Recent posts

One might think that using SCI-based sockets (SCI_SOCKET) to transport MPI messages with MPICH2 makes the development of a specific SCI-device unnecessary. I ran some benchmarks to verify this. See the documentation section for the results.

I just imported the initial sources into the CVS. All that can be done with them is to integrate them in MPICH2 and configure the device. However, the source files are still more or less skeleton files, taken over from the ch3 device.
