In addition to error above regarding name entry, try right-clicking outside the alphabet box.
This has the effect of activating the Enter name button. (Or focusing over the enter name icon, then right-click a second time).
Is this desirable? Perhaps. Not consistent as right-click elsewhere in Scenario editor's windows is like "escape" or "back". Opinion? Subjective?
