#19 Scandb on a virtual machine

Hello,

I have installed scandb on a virtual machine (on Proxmox with Debian 10, unfortunately the hardware button doesn't work anyway.
scanimage -L says :
device `fujitsu:ScanSnap S1500:8775' is a FUJITSU ScanSnap S1500 scanner

systemctl status scandb says:
Sep 19 19:26:22 debian scanbd[440]: /usr/sbin/scanbd: no devices, not starting any polling thread
Sep 19 19:26:22 debian scanbd[440]: /usr/sbin/scanbd: udev fd is non-blocking, now setting to blocking mode

unfortunately I just can't get any further and need help
