I've been buggered by automatic QA from Debian lintian for a while about the dbus policy settings for scanbd. Today, I've finally had some time to read up on it. There are a number of errors in the policy definition shipped by scanbd. I've prepared a patch that I believe adresses these issues. Lintian no longer complains. Please double-check to make sure the file still works as you intended it to.
Yes I noticed it too there are many errors in the policy of scanbd
