Thanks for pointing me to that framework! I will take a look how to implement 
integration with Aperture data sources via SCAN plugins system.

I'd like also to suggest some extra sources to be crawled (which I planned in 
SCAN):

* Synd Feeds (already implemented)
* Del.icio.us accounts (in progress right now)
* Browser bookmarks and history files 

Web-crawling and email scanning (which I planned also) seem to be implemented 
in Aperture.

I'll keep you informed about any progress on integration with Aperture.
