First of all thanks for this tool. I recently discovered it and gave it a shot with ~500Mb of documents (+/-1300 docs in openoffice, pdf, msoffice and freemind formats)… so far performances are acceptable, kudos!
Is there any way to get support for freemind maps indexing? I don't know of java libs to handle this flavour of xml file, but would really appreciate this feature… as Freemind is a must for note taking, brainstorming, document and presentation drafting or general idea organizing.
Thanks in advance, and best wishes for this new year!
Berteh.

I'm also a big user of mind mapping and would love to SCAN to have a plug-in that supported this content type.
Unfortunately there isn't any standard in the industry right now. And there are a number of products available both free/open source and commercial. Up until last year I used FreeMind, but have since moved over to xMind (www.xmind.net) which has a free version.
Other popular mind map tools include:
- Commerical: MindManager by Mind Jet, iMindMapby Buzan Online, PersonalBrianby TheBrain, XMind by XMind
- Open Source: XMind, FreeMind

Hi,
Nice to hear you've found our product useful, thanks!
We didn't plan to support mind map formats, as it has never been demanded before.
