2080 - Space Colonization / News: Recent posts

Hey all!

I haven't updated this news page in a long time. 2080 is still going strong! Our membership of active members is now 5, our website has had over 20,000 hits since it's transfer to spacecolonization.net. Progress on the new framework, designed to be heavily abstracted and not tied to any graphics engine, although we are using the Ogre graphics engine. That's where the new website is and it is now fully online. Right now I am updating the downloads on Sourceforge and within the next month or so I will have the CVS up and running with the newest code.

We will now be developing 2080 away from the Eve-Corp account we once had and are shifting much more towards this source-forge area. To this end, I have updated the downloads with all the releases up to this time and another new release should be coming along in the next few weeks.

The project has been going for some time now, but this is the official opening on the internet. This Sourceforge page will detail the files uploaded and progress with tasks, however any news about developments as well as screenshots will be on the homepage:
