Category: sfcb Group: Function >Status: Closed >Resolution: Duplicate Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Unnikrishnan Udinoor (unniudinoor) Assigned to: Chris Buccella (buccella) Summary: Issue with sfcbmofpp in sfcb 1.3.7 Initial Comment: While processing the MOF file by the sfcbmofpp utility in the SFCB 1.3.7 version - it wrongly considers "//" anywhere in the line as Comment and removes the part of line from the MOF file. This introduces syntax error in the MOF. I faced this issue while using the sfcbstage to place the MOF files onto stage directory. For example : The following is the part of my my MOF file. ========================================= [Override ( "ProtocolIFType" ), Description ( "ProtocolIFType is an enumeration that is synchronized " "with the IANA ifType MIB. The ifType MIB is maintained " "at the URL, " "http:/ /www.iana.org/assignments/ianaiftype-mib. Also, " "additional values defined by the DMTF are included. The " "property is used to categorize and classify instances of " "the ProtocolEndpoint class. Note that if the " "ProtocolIFType is set to 1 (Other), then the type " "information should be provided in the " "OtherTypeDescription string property." ), =========================================== once you process this MOF with the sfcbmofpp utility , the above section gets changed as follows : [See the line where http:// is there] ============================================= [Override ( "ProtocolIFType" ), Description ( "ProtocolIFType is an enumeration that is synchronized " "with the IANA ifType MIB.
