Hi, I'm running a few preliminary tests to compile sbcl with Xanalys Lispworks. The first problem was that the first genesis saves fasls under the suffix .lisp-obj and that LW tries to load anything that isn't .ufsl as lisp text. *** shared.lisp.orig Wed Jan 30 15:05:49 2002 --- shared.lisp Wed Jan 30 15:06:27 2002 *************** *** 62,68 **** --- 62,72 ---- ;;; it easier for a human looking at the temporary files to figure out ;;; what they're for, but it's not necessary for the compilation ;;; process to work, so we haven't bothered. + #-lispworks (defvar *host-obj-suffix* ".lisp-obj") + #+lispworks + (defvar *host-obj-suffix* ".ufsl") + (defvar *target-obj-suffix* ".lisp-obj") ;;; a function of one functional argument, which calls its functional argument -- Honest praise, this stony part insisted, was what the bunglers of the world heaped on the heads of the barely competent. -- Stephen King |
