I think they agree that it's a bug that forward-referenced type specifiers should cause a warning, and it's possible that there's a bug in the implementation, but it is also possible that there will be a warning if a type remains undefined by the end of the compilation unit. Please talk to them (maybe on irc.freenode.net #ccl) and tell us what the status is.
