I'm pretty sure that page is just referring to binaries - I built 1.0.31 on OS X snow leopard (64 bit) using the binary of 1.0.29 available from that page, and I've had no problems so far. Obviously there may be some issue with recent versions and openbsd, for all I know, but best thing to do would be grab the source and try it. Certainly don't be put off by the version numbers on that page. Malcolm |
