The GUI was written by me. It still will not load hand-written sbagen files, but will load its own files, and the files it generates will run with sbagen command line (as you might expect). There are three versions of the GUI available. The first is the python source code. For this you need python and wxwindows installed. You run the program using: python sbaguiApp1.py (or double click sbaguiApp1.py if you are using Windows). You need a copy of the sbagen binary (sbagen.exe in windows) in the same directory as the GUI files. The other two versions are binaries (for Windows and Linux). Simply place the correct binary in your sbagen directory (where the binary is) and run it. I think the Linux binary is dependent on certain libraries, so you may be better off with runningg the source for Linux. At present, on Mac OSX, the source is the only way to get it to work (and it is very fiddly installing wxwindows).. I have built a binary for it, but there does not seem to be much demand so I have not published it. By the way, the GUI was developed using boa constructor, an excellent RAD environment for Python. If anyone wants to add features, please feel free. James P.S. Please be more explicit about what errors you are getting.
