I have manually unsubscribed <th...@de...> from the mailing list.

For anyone else wanting to unsubscribe in the future: the URL at the bottom of every mail you get from the list has a form for unsubscribing (towards the bottom of the page), or you can email samtools-help-request@ with the subject "unsubscribe".

If you can't get it to work (in this case, I guess Þórður was subscribed with a different email address to the one he expected), I suggest emailing samtools-help-owner@, where the list administrators can help you, rather than the whole list!
