- Bumping into next development cycle (Qt >= 6.11)
i now have some experience with Ai and i think i will put this MPE sampler project on the todo list. I can already copy over the sampler 15 times and give each one a different midi channel. But it was be more practical to have just one sampler. Now on my todo list!
sorry to tell there are no plans for samplv1 (or any other of the v1's) to support MPE in any way. unless someone else (or some AI bot) does the heavy lifting ;)
MPE sampler
i understand, thanks for looking into this.
so you're already using the noble package, right, then I'm out of ideas, sorry :/
- Fix appstream developer metadata.
Linux Mint 22.3 "Zena" is not based on Ubuntu Jammy; it is based on Ubuntu Noble (24.04 LTS). Ubuntu Jammy (22.04 LTS) is the base for the older Linux Mint 21.x series, which is supported until April 2027, whereas Mint 22.3 is a long-term support release supported until April 2029.
you are absolutely right. Sorry for the fuzzzzzz
i remember a while back you gave me the noble packages. Perhaps a leftover form Mint 22.1? I will try the jammy PPA instead, thanks.
There's no need for that when you can hit the virtual-keyboard keys at the bottom or "Play" from the sample waveform right-click menu.
Being closed source and not build specifically to the distro/platform/system libraries where you are running it, Reaper might (and usually do) choke with Qt plugins that are linked non-statically. Where did you get your samplv1.lv2 instance? Building from source and linking to Qt shared-libraries is a big no-no. You may try to install from yours truly repos (guess for Mint the jammy ppa's might be a good option).

Working with samplv1 again, and bumping into the same issue as i reported on Github: https://github.com/rncbc/samplv1/issues/42 would you consider an option to zoom in and out on the sample's view?

Thanks for making this available! I now have a perfect result- both padthv and samplv work and look great. ( i just found out to which Ubuntu version i must compare LM22: Distro: Linux Mint 22 Wilma base: Ubuntu 24.04 noble)
you'll need the Libraries (noble) ppa too then.
